Motors

11-5-05
The CNC project will be using bipolar stepper motors.  These motors have 200 steps per revolution or 1.8 degrees per step.  The ones I have chosen have 276 oz-in of holding power and are based on the NEMA 23 frame size.  They will be powered by a transformer that outputs around 40V @ 8A.
